Author Platform® is written and published by Litopia, a community for writers since 2005, founded by literary agent and bestselling author Peter Cox.
Peter Cox
Peter Cox is a literary agent and bestselling author. His first book, Why You Don’t Need Meat reached No. 1 on the British paperback chart and won the Booksellers’ Association award for the best nonfiction publicity campaign of the year.
“I learned so much from that experience,” he says. “I was on the road for nearly three months, doing events up and down the country. One lesson learned: go where the readers are!”
He has written or co-written more than twenty books, including Linda McCartney’s Home Cooking, which rose to the No. 1 position in the British hardback charts.
As founder of the literary agency Redhammer, working across London and New York, he has represented authors including Michelle Paver, Senator Orrin Hatch, Martin Bell and Mike Nelson.
